1. Shambhu, who has a crest-moon, who is the destroyer of Madana (cupid), who holds a trident in His hand, who is static, who is revered by the mountain king Himalaya, who is the Lord of Girija (Parvati), who is the supreme Lord, who is the Lord of every living thing, who destroys the fears of the bereaved, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

2. Rudra, who is dear to Parvati, who has moon on the forehead, who is the leader of ghosts, who is the Lord of tormentors, who is chanted by Himalaya, who is Vamadeva (a form of Shiva), who destroys the universe at the end of Kalpa (one cycle of creation), who holds the bow Pinaaka, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

3. Pashupati, who has a blue throat, who has a bull on His flag, who has five-faces in one of the forms, who is the Lord of the world, who wears a bracelet of snake, who is the leader of tormentors, who is Sharva (name of Rudra), who has locks of tresses, who is the consort of the daughter of Himalaya (Parvati), who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

4. Shiva, who is the Lord of this world, who undertakes auspicious tasks (Shankara), who is revered by demi-Gods, who has Ganga flowing in His tresses, who is the leader of tormentors, who is the Lord of Nandi and Baanasura, who is the enemy of Andhakasura, who absolves, who is the Lord of every world, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world.

King of Varanasi city, who is the Lord of Manikarnika, who is superior to every warrior, who destroyed the sacrifice of Daksha, who is powerful, who rules over Ganas, who knows everything, who dwells inside everyone’s heart, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

6. O Maheshwara, You who is benevolent, who is merciful, whose hair are like the sky (in all directions), who has a blue-throat, who is the supreme leader of Ganas, who smears ashes on His body, who has a garland of skulls, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

7. Mrityunjaya, who lives on Mount Kailasha, who is Vrishakapi (one of the eleven Rudras), who has three-eyes, who pervades in all the three-worlds, who is dear to Narayana, who slays pride, who is the Lord of Shakti, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world. 

8. Vishwanatha, who is the Lord of the world, who destroys metempsychosis (reincarnation of the soul after physical death), who is all pervading, who is the soul, who is the only storehouse of worldly-qualities, who is compassionate, who is friend of the meek, and who is the Lord of the universe! Save me from the dense miseries of this world.
